time to be selfish

things i want atm:
i want a boy bestfriend
i want a hot chip sandwich
i want my cat to stop scratching me, especially on the squishy parts of my fingers cause that really hurts
i want to have unlimited free txting
i want my bed to be fixed :( poor beddy
i want to live in the spare room instead of the bedroom i have
i want icecream
i want to eat as much as i want and not get fat
i want new togs
i want to party
i want to finish school, but i also want to keep seeing my friends everyday
i want to go to the beach more
i want to get my p's without having to go for the test :S
i want to be able to read peoples minds
i want to never have to sleep
i want to be young again just for a day or two
i want to get to know my grandma better
i want to learn how to ride horses then ride one on the beach at sunrise
i want one of those small portable externals hard drives that you dont need to plug into the wall for it to work
i want to watch all episodes of scrubs, gossip girl, 90210 etc.
i want to be a little shorter so i can wear heels and not look like the bfg
i want to watch the bfg now that i think of it
i wanttt...to be really good at something

hmm, today was a nice laid back day. did a bit of TOK, watched spider-man 3 (how hot is james franco!) and ate icecream for lunch :D
i have just this minute decided to write up a little list of the things that have made me smile lately :)

1. boom boom boom - the outhere brothers
- ahhhh i love this song! its one of the songs where you just cant help singing along..."WAYYOOO"

2. hamish and andy podcasts - really been getting back into them!
3. finding pictures of what my dream house would look like...here are afew to give you abit of an idea...
4. just rap songs in general. weird, but true. they're good to walk to
5. walking down to the bay and lying on the playground at sunset.
6. going to the op-shops with mum and finding these shoes...
and this wallet...7. brothers and sisters <3 style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">
8. james franco *drool*. if you've seen tristan and isolde or spider man 1, 2, 3 then you'll know who im talking about :)
9. the holidays are fast appraoching :D

thats all i can think of at the moment. hope you (whoever you are) are having a nice weekend and looking forward to the holidays as much as i am :)

happy list 1.

school starts back tomorrow, term 2.
the year is going so so fast already, so i think i need to remember to take some time out and get to know what is making me happy,
i want to remind myself of the little things in life, so that i remember that the world is much bigger than just me and my problems.
slightly twisted logic, but it works in my mind ;)

1. op-shops. once you start to shop in them, it is prettyy much impossible to stop. im addicted :) but it makes me happy to know that the money i am spending goes to charity and that the clothes have a history (even if they are a little smelly sometimes)

2. reading. school books are going to take up all of my reading time for the next year probably, but i love reading, becoming immersed in a totally different world :)

3. postcards. avant card is, by far, THE best company in the world! their free postcards never cease to excite me and add a little joy into my day when i find a reallly good one!

so there i go. happy list numero uno :)
